Information we collect from you


We collect one piece of personal data when you create or modify an account, and that is the email address you provide. We use that email address to connect you to the content you create, and to alert you when that content is interacted with or given special recognition.


When you create or modify an account, we also collect IP address (which is not personally identifiable).


If you have an account, we use cookies to keep track of if you're logged in, but do not use that cookie information for any other purpose.


If you email us, your email will be in our email.


We don't share any of that info with anybody, ever.


The Psychic High School Newsletter


Subscription to the Psychic High School Newsletter is entirely opt-in, and completely separate from accounts on the site. You may subscribe or unsubscribe at any time to our newsletter through a link provided at the bottom of every newsletter.


Information we collect from other sources


We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized data from everyone who visits the site. We do not tie that information to personably identifiable data.


If you are subscribed to the Psychic High School Newsletter, we collect analytics data from Mailchimp, our email service provider. That information is connected to the email address subscribed to the Psychic High School Newsletter mailing list. You can unsubcribe from the Psychic High School mailing list at any time from a link at the bottom of each email. Signing up for the Psychic High School Newsletter is not connected in any way to an account you may or may not have on the site.


How we use your information


We use your email address (the only piece of personally identifiable information we collect) to:


  • Connect you to the content you create

  • Alert you when that content is interacted with—for instance, you are mentioned by another user with via your user name, or a story you are connected to is updated

  • Let you know if your content is given special recognition—for instance, you are awarded the Psyhigh Spirit Badge, mentioned in a newsletter, or otherwise given special props

  • To contact you for any other reason arising from your use of the site


How we share your information


We don't share that information. With anybody! Totally not our thing.


Your Content


The content you create and post on the site is publicly visible. You can email info@psyhigh.com to have it removed at any time.


Processing and controlling your data


We both process and conrol your data ourselves. We're a simple folk. You have these rights concerning your data:


  • If you wish to request deletion of your personal information, you can do so at any time by emailing info@psyhigh.com

  • If you wish to object the processing of your personal information, you can do so at any time by emailing info@psyhigh.com

  • If you wish to request portability of your personal information, you can do so at any time by emailing info@psyhigh.com

  • You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we will delete any of your data or content at your request. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it effect the public visibility of the content you created up to that time.


Children's Privacy


We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13, and children under 13 are prohibited from using the service. If you learn that a child has provided us with personal information in violation of this Privacy Policy, you can alert us at info@psyhigh.com.


Security


We will use industry standard technical and organizational security measures in connection with the storage, processing and transfer of your content that are designed to protect the integrity of that content and to guard against unauthorized or unlawful access to, use of, or processing of such content.


Data Retention


We retain personal information we collect from you so long as you are a member of Psychic High School.


Personal Data


We will never sell your personal data for any purpose. We're not here to sell your info to advertisers or any other interested party.


Termination


You are free to stop using our site at any time. You can email us at info@psyhigh.com and we'll delete your account and your content. We also reserve the right to suspend your account or delete your content at our discretion and without notice, for any reason we see fit.


Modifications to this Policy and Site


This policy and website may be modified from time to time, often without prior notice to you. Your continued use of the site constitutes your acceptance of such modifications. If you are not satisfied with a modification we make to the site or its policies, your sole remedy is to terminate your use of the site.

International Data Transfer

In connection with providing you access to the site, Psychic High School may transfer, store and process your content in the U.S. or in any other country in which Psychic High School or its agents maintain facilities. By using the site you consent to this transfer, processing and storage of your content.
