Regular Journal No.1

I realise now that in my dream (see dream journal no.2) i may of dreamt of the Great Old One Atlach-Nacha. A spider like Old One with a human face. It is said that when Atlach-Nacha finishes his vast chasm bridge of webbing it will contribute to the end of the world.

This could mean a lot of things, even if they all seem a littler far-fetched.

A few other tidbits about Atlach-Nacha because... Why not! Atlach-Nacha is worshipped in the Andaman Islands, by the Spiders of Leng and by the Tcho-Tcho of South Asia!

I think it's about time for a bit more of the know about these fascinating deities to get spread around! So, it's time for some Eldritch Deities Funfacts!

Firstly lets start off with the Great Old Ones. These are a loose pantheon of ancient, but powerful deities who loom in the deep depths of space. They once all ruled Earth, but for now however they have fallen into a deathlike sleep state. Some are even imprisoned or restricted (Trapped inside the earth, in the depths of the sea, in a paradoxical space dimension) which means their abilities to interact with most people is heavily affected.

Despite this, many are still worshipped by various cults! A famous Great Old One would be Cthulhu, a giant mix between a human, an octopus, and a dragon! It's rumored that Cthulhu is trapped beneath the sea, and heavily worshipped by various old fishing towns that his call has brainwashed.

ah gof'nn hrii! Excuse the poor R'lyehian. I'm still learning!

I couldn't resist adding another quick post, my enthusiasm is Psy High! (Get it?)

This will be a short one! Focusing on Amon-Gorloth, also known as Creator of Nile and Universe's Equilibrium. They are a colossal entity whose cult is actually similar to the Egyptian god Amun! They once dwelled in a gigantic palace known as Gz-eh which was close to the Valley of the Kings. They're dreaming force had the ability to shape reality, this allowed him to make the Nile Valley flourish 3,000 years ago! However shortly after the star came right and the desert advanced in entombing the giant entity beneath the ground, sealing him in the earth.

They're loyal priests built secret mausoleums to try and access the Great Old One so they could sacrifice cattle to please him.

Hello hello!! It's time for another round of ichor-oozing goodness!

Today i'm going to be talk all about the Other Gods.

These Gods are ruled by Azathoth, also known as the "Blind Idiot God." He holds court at the center of the universe as a group of Outer Gods dance rhythmically around him, in cadence to the piping of a demonic flute! Among the Outer Gods that are present at his court are the entities called the Ultimate Gods.

Yog-Sothoth, also known as the "All-in-One", co-rules with Azathoth and exists in all places. At all times. In all the cosmos. But he is locked away outside the mundane universe. Nyarlathotep, the "Crawling Chaos", acts as the avatar and soul of the Outer Gods, serving as the intermediary between the deities and their pantheon of cults!

Yoo hooo!! It's me again. WHEW, sorry about the short break there! I had some serious loads of work to catch up on! Turns out my enthusiasm can be quite disastrous!

ANYWHO without further delay it's time for some more delicious deitie tidbits!

Today i'll go over Shub-Niggurath! She is an outer god in the pantheon, she acts as a perverse fertility deity who is said to appear as an enormous cloudy mass, extruding black tentacles, numerous slime dripping mouths and short little goat legs! She can spit out numerous small creatures which will then be either re-consumed into her miasmatic form or they'll manage to escape and form some monstrous life elsewhere!!

She has three groups of worshippers, the HyperBoreans, the Muvians, and the people of Sarnath. Many other druidic and barbaric cults also enjoy worshipping her! She's sometimes referred to The Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young. How neat is that!!

The worshippers who get favored are called the gof'nn hupadgh Shub-Niggurath! So if that's a name that tickles your fancy i'd say get to it!!! They also get transformed into a satyr-like being with immortal life! Neato!

There is SO SO MUCH MORE i would LOVE to write about her buuuuut, you know what they say with eldritch deities. If you know too much it can be dangerous!

Hello one and all! Time for yet another round of amazing fun filled deity goodies!!

Today we're looking at Mormo, also known as "The Thousand-Faced Moon" Mormo can appear in many forms, but she has three that are most common: A vampiric maiden, a tentacle-haired gorgon, or a hunched toad-like albino with a big mass of feelers instead of an actual face!! This last one if the form of her servitors, called "The Moon-beasts"

The Moon-beasts are great silvery, slippery things which can expand and contract at will! They live on the dark side of the Dreamlands' moon which unlike our moon has massive forests! and oily seas!!!

They are rumoured to have a permanent settlement at the Nameless Rock, which is in the Cerenerian Sea.

I hope you enjoyed this installment!!!! I have some things to take care of now, buh-bye!
