We watched the aliens land on the moon.

I was with Loxton in the Rose Garden. The moon was not quite full, and at first it looked like sparks fluttering over the edges. But then they kept coming and coming, like a thousand tiny fireflies, swooping over the moon's horizon and landing on the side facing earth.

Of course, it was silent. But after awhile you could tell it wasn't a meteor shower or an explosion or anything. It was methodical.

Now they've been camped up there for months.
