Where: The woods southwest of the sculpture garden.
When: 5:37pm
What: Startled several tall, spindly robot creatures in the bushes. Their bodies were roughly two feet in diameter, with a rounded triangular shape. Metallic. Each one stood on four long legs, also made of metal but incredibly flexible. Like hoses, or steel spaghetti.
The creatures were chittering to each other when I approached. They stopped and abruptly stood up (roughly eight feet tall), then very gracefully walked deeper into the woods, moving their lanky legs so carefully that they made almost no sound at all as they picked their way through the overgrowth.

Where: The lawn in front of the Manor House.
When: 3:13pm
What: I observed a family of tiny metal centipedes crawling through the grass. My glasses had just been knocked off by a frisbee. When I bent to pick them up, I spotted a tiny silver flash between the blades of grass. I assumed it was a small piece of foil or perhaps a dime, but upon closer inspection it was a writhing nest of robotic arthropods, churning up through the earth. I tapped them with the earpiece of my glasses and they quickly scattered, burrowing back down into the turf with alarming speed.
