ANALYST'S NOTES: The new Nines decide to forego verbal communication entirely and communicate only telepathically. On the senior Nine's floor, Little Timothy Neffer shows Beatrice a vintage pinball machine he can communicate with by radio, which prints off reams of paper covered with stange symbols. Later that night, Nettie and Hairspray host a small party on the roof of their dorm.

ANALYST'S NOTES: The new Nines continue the telepathic discusion about their shared drug experience, and decide to put out an album. The cover features a group photo. Hairspray and Nettie are uncomfortable with the increased notoriety. Meanwhile in an alternate Victorian dimension, Bob Cratchit is an anthropomorphic frog.

ANALYST'S NOTES: Back in school the next day, the new Nines telepathically discuss their experience at the club. Nettie, Hairspray, and Thad meet their dealer behind school. Meanwhile in the senior Nines' homeroom, Lara wonders if they are losing their relevance. Little Timothy Neffer disagrees, but we can see him sweating. After school, the new Nines go shoplifting.
