My Seven Psychic Fruits have not fared well since summer.

"Eat us! Eat us!" they kept imploring me. "Eat us before it's too late!"

I was so enamored with them. I was in love with the way they looked, intoxicated by the way they smelled. I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

"I want to save you!" I said. "I can not be the one who ends you!"

Through the fall their cries grew more faint. They became confused, their tiny minds festering and fermenting.

They are still on the balcony of my dorm room. I can not bring myself to open the sliding door.



"Oh! Dude! Do you know what's out here? GROSS!"
