How I got to Psychic High School


Do you have a Shangri-la Nickel Arcade in your town? Built in an old run-down theater, and the floors are sticky from spilled soda and you win tickets to trade in for joy buzzers and whoopee cushions and rattlesnake eggs and real laser pistols?

Summer is winding down and the sky was super blue and the sun was baking and there were roller-skating boys outside with helmets and knives and no shirts but it's air conditioned in the Shangri-la.

Pharaoh's Treasure. Wheel of Time. Action Claw Deluxe. A blonde mom who tears it up on Big Buck Hunter Pro.

The bathrooms are hard to find because they are squirrelled away in the back, but if you keep going, upstairs, in the dark, where the old projection room used to be, there is a ladder that goes up to a trap door in the ceiling.

That will get you to the storage room above the gym at Psychic High School where they stashed all the old office equipment. Be careful what you rub up against because it's all super dusty. But you can probably follow the footprints if you want!
