A new psychic school year is upon us already!

I swear I must be caught in some kind of time loop. Just this morning as I was on my phone during the annual Mircea Eliade Re-welcome Breakfast, I ran into pictures from last year's event and I was wearing the exact same dress! I really must be in some kind of rut.

Could that be why my dashingly infuriating gentleman friend @Seketus Reed continues to avoid any serious discussion of our relationship? Am I just too predictable? Well, predictably, he's off on another of his psychic spelunking adventures with yet another group of young interns. Maybe I just can't learn new lessons.

But you can! Sooooo many new lessons to learn! And the first of those lessons is "Don't be shy" and "Be honest!" and "Tell them how you really feel, before it's too late!"

Finally! I have made it through the tunnels of the Hollow Earth and found my way to the Psychic High School. Popped right up through your boiler room floor! Like a big troll!

But what even IS a boiler room? Do you boil so many things at this school you have a whole room dedicated to it? Is it for the lutefisk perhaps? This is wonderful news for me, as I have many strange jellyfish and skates from the subterranean seas of the hollow earth that I must prepare for eating.

Ha ha not for me, but for my ferocious pack of polar wolves that pull my travois.

I'm from a balloon ranch, way out in the middle of nowhere. I was psychic home schooled, so didn't meet a lot of people growing up. Now everybody looks like a balloon to me, more or less.

I am very excited to see what this year brings!

I started school recently, but I already feel at home. I love science and cooking classes, I never thought a human arm would be such a delicious delicacy.

You know how on registration day when they post those lists with everyone's names on it AND your psy ranking? Don't you find that demoralizing? It's like right off the bat they introduce this hierarchy and where each and every student "fits in." Ugh.

I'm finding it hard to keep up with my schoolwork. Part of me is like "but it's just dreams in the longlong pod" and it doesn't really matter, right? But then there's all this anxiety if I don't do it.

I guess they make the nightnight drive a little hard or your brain would go soft. That's what Ling told me but I can't find her anywhere. Or anybody who will say who they are back in the UXIKRA. Why didn't somebody tell me the plan was to stay in character the whole time? I totally would not have agreed to this.

Best part of being a senior at Psyhigh? We get golf carts! To drive around campus!

Worst part: Neanderthals from Caveman Club who try and herd us off the cliff above the tennis courts. Why do they have it out for us? If they are going to live here in the future with the rest of us they should learn to live with modern technology.
